15 Sep The Black Box
One of the things I miss the most in the city is seeing the stars at night so I decided to build a device that will allow me to see the stars even here, in the most bright city in the world. The original plan looked something like that:

But after visiting some stores I decided to go with the black box concept. I then started working on both parts:
The constellation device

The Cardboard
I bought a black cardboard and cut it to 5 equal parts. I then found a constellation map, printed it and started piercing holes in the black cardboard. At the end I glued all the parts (had to add some tape to block the cracks) and that is it!

The Device
the light: I started by buying batteries and a light bulb but as it turned out the batteries did not have enough current to turn on the light. After bringing the right battery I attached everything together, add a switch, and that was it.

The Black Box
the only problem though was that the light was not bright enough to light the big box, so I found one more function to my smartphone!
